Nikon Corp has announced the forthcoming release of the new Nikon D90 dSLR camera with the unique selling point of being the first single lens reflex camera with a video recording mode.
The estimated selling price for the new camera (body only) is believed to be around £699 on the street.
Kits available with a Nikon 18-105mm lens are available on Amazon.co.uk for £899.
Some of the more notable features released include:
- 12.3 megapixel DX format CMOS imaging sensor
- 4.5 frames per second continous shooting
- 3 inch super density screen
- Low noise ISO sensitivity from 200 to 3200
- Built in image sensor cleaning
- 11-point AF system with face priority
- One button Live View
- Face detection system
